Dog Poet Transmitting.......
May your noses always be cold and wet.
The more of the complexity of it all that I see and the more I am aware that the whole of artificial life is manipulated by magic, the more grateful I am that there is an ineffable. I recognize that I am just a microscopic cog in a massive watch, whose totality of being cannot be seen. It is so big that linear perspective is impossible. It’s like trying to see over the horizon line of the Earth from any point. Due to the peculiar OS math required for multidimensional awareness of the inner and outer world, it is not possible to ever plumb the extent of ourselves, or the universe, which extends outward to whatever point it extends. I’m just talking nonsense though, reaching for some means or medium to say whatever it is I have to say, not that I know what that is yet (grin).
I expect it has something to do with magic. There are a lot of different kinds of magic running around. There’s Hoodoo, Vodun and Juju; Voodoo, Shamanism, Black Magic, White Magic and these are only a very few. Listing only the indigenous forms would take awhile. A large portion of the modern world is presently under the pernicious spell of Reverse Kabala and the hypnotic spell of all kinds of subtle and not so subtle programming. I don’t know how important any of this really is. It comes down to what one can and cannot accomplish; what one should or should not do.
One of the most useful assets of personal wisdom is the capacity to know one’s limitations and to not seek to operate outside of them. For most people, this is something you learn at bitter cost. Certainly the aging process will teach you a thing or two. It will certainly teach you the value of whatever it is you spent your time involved in. Yeah... we have limitless potential, that doesn’t mean we are in a position to exercise it. Things like this always remind me of that exchange from Henry the 4th, which coincidentally includes another of my favorite statements as well, in the last portion;
Hence, The Devil’s title as, ‘Father of Lies’ and also that power we all possess to send him off and further... the assurance that the devil only has the power you confer upon him. If you exist and operate in the dimensions of the devil, you fall under his authority. If you live outside that dimension and draw your inspiration and operating drive from a higher source then... you fall under that authority.
Let’s imagine for a moment that you have a drinking problem or an unfortunate relationship with one of the less savory drugs. During your active period in this area of activity, you have regular associates and regular haunts. Let’s say some event or another causes you to step away from this behavior. One thing you will notice is that all of your former associates disappear. In a short time you might not even remember any of them. Your dimension of being has changed and you’re not who you were before. You were also not who you are before, you might still not be; probably aren’t. Positive change of any kind does not automatically, mean greater awareness. It means different awareness. One might say you are better off no longer drinking or subsisting on Oxycodone but even that is not necessarily true. A jerk is still a jerk, regardless of a fuel change.
The devil exists to challenge and to test you, while you remain in the parameters of his influence. So long as you are the plaything of certain appetites and desires you are an object lesson in expression at one point or another of the demonstration being made.
Independent thinkers often have a serious aversion to religion. Intelligent people can hardly avoid having an aversion to religion but... let’s remember that intelligence does not come attended by morality or spiritual discernment. Psychopaths are generally intelligent, even if it is actually no more than levels of cleverness. A complete human being is a marvelous construction. It is a truly unfortunate thing that there are so few of them resident on the planet at this time.
People have certain abilities and their whole ego focus is directed at them, while ignoring their drawbacks and shortcomings. They think their few talents are more than enough to make their less attractive features attractive. They get born with looks and they rely on them, blissfully unaware that there are millions more like them, with the same short shelf life. They can sing, they can dance and they can design buildings, chart complex economic courses and manipulate laws for lucre. Some can do all of these things but… the things they cannot do... are far more than the totality of all they can do and none of these things make them a human being.
There are two things I can think of, right off the bat, that every sane and decent person should cultivate as indispensable parts of themselves; humility and integrity. With these two in your possession, you are in fine position to acquire all the rest of what you might need. Good qualities are magnetic. They attract other good qualities and some of them, like compassion, humility, integrity, bring their associates when they arrive.
It’s not my job to tell people whether they should or should not slug it out in the marketplace; live in a city, not live in a city, get married and have children (in this world of the moment) or not do this. Each and every person has to consider these things for themselves. What I do have to say is that you are going to be confronted with choices every single day. Some of them are going to be difficult choices. I could not imagine facing existence without an unshakeable reliance upon the ineffable and without an activated intuition. I recognize that there are those whose preferences extend to weapons, large financial resources, secure facilities and bodyguards in attendance and all the varied and many things upon which people rely. I prefer one thing to rely on and it is none of these.
Obviously, there are many who do not see things as I do. They are certainly not going to put their desires and ambitions in the hands of some inexplicable and possibly imaginary force which, at the end of the day, may be in opposition to their ambitions and desires. Self interest... self interest; it sets the tone for everything, however, your greatest self interest can only be fulfilled through the surrender of your self interest to the only one who can satisfactorily fulfill it. It’s a no brainer. Imagine yourself, for the moment, as a 3 year old child. Your sense of who you are and the ineffable’s sense of who you are, are vastly different. Calling you a 3 year old is giving you way too much credit but I needed an example, even though the gulf between you in respect of that awareness is much greater. Is it not logical that you should rely on your parents for every choice?
However, a great many of us bawl in frustration over the unavailability of instant gratification’ the colorful object we can’t reach, or because we made a mess in our pants and... you can definitely extrapolate that out metaphorically and in analogy to it’s every possibility of demonstration. We also get pissed off and act selfishly, throwing food, rejecting what’s offered, in other words, behaving like a child. Certain features of behaving like a child are good (The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; the calf and the young lion will feed together, and a little child will lead them), some are not. This is where discrimination comes in.
Here’s the important thing:
Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven."
I’ve explained this often and it is one of the things I repeat for a very good reason. That is because it has a deeper interpretation than that on the surface. One must accomplish regenerated innocence. That is how people are in the heavens AND... if you are not resonant with the environment you are automatically discharged and then your personal magnetics take care of getting you to your next location where you do resonate.
Note the phrase, “unless ye ‘turn’. What this means is that there is a different direction that is necessary in order to accomplish this resonance. What this also means is that most people are heading in the direction of perdition. You have to turn away from the general direction AND it’s a good idea to immediately admit you have no idea why you were doing what you were doing and no idea of where you were headed. Then you let go and let God. Here’s what Lao Tzu has to say on the matter:
“He whom life fulfills,
Though he remains a child,
Is immune to the poisonous sting
Of insects, to the ravening
Of wild beasts or to vultures' bills.
He needs no more bone or muscle than a baby's for sure hold.
Without thought of joined organs, he is gender
Which grows firm, unfaltering.
Though his voice should cry out at full pitch all day, it would not rasp but would stay tender
Through the perfect balancing
Of a man at endless ease with everything
Because of the true life that he has led.
To try for more than this bodes ill.
It is said, 'there's a way where there's a will;'But let life ripen and then fall.
Willis not the way at all:
Deny the way of life and you are dead.”
Allowing life to fulfill you results in this;
“Be utterly humble
And you shall hold to the foundation of peace.
Be at one with all these living things which, having arisen and flourished,
Return to the quiet whence they came,
Like a healthy growth of vegetation
Falling back upon the root.
Acceptance of this return to the root has been called 'quietism,'
Acceptance of quietism has been condemned as 'fatalism.'
But fatalism is acceptance of destiny
And to accept destiny is to face life with open eyes,
Whereas not to accept destiny is to face death blindfold.
He who is open-eyed is open-minded-
He who is open-minded is open-hearted,
He who is open-hearted is kingly,
He who is kingly is godly,
He who is godly is useful,
He who is useful is infinite,
He who is infinite is immune,
He who is immune is immortal.”
There is a reason that we are born with an innocent nature and there is a reason that we are corrupted and that is to provide meaning and value to regenerated innocence, to the one who turns away. Wisdom is (or should be) the proper fruit of experience.
'They Got the Blues Inside Them' will feature on a forthcoming Visible album, sometime in 2014
